Mysterious and dark, Vault 52 has quenched the thirst of gin lovers for years; renowned for its history with a vaulted candlelit cellar it is a hidden gem. Located under the original early 17th century manor house, with its original walls you can take a step back in time, escape the hustle and enjoy a huge selection of award winning gins and accompaniments.

Choose from a select number of tables in our snug or tuck yourself away at a discrete, romantic cellar table. Our food menu offers a selection of charcuterie and cheeses, alongside vegetarian and vegan options. There is something for everyone to enjoy. Private Dining
If you are looking for something truly unique and perfectly suited to smaller parties then Vault 52 is the ideal place for you. The 300 year old vaulted brick cellars create a warm intimate and totally unique setting for a bespoke event. It is an exceptional addition for photographs, private bar, entertaining, dining and partying.
Gin Experience
Join us at Vault 52 for an in-depth journey through gin’s colourful and checkered past; from its creation by the Dutch, its journey across the sea with William of Orange, to Hogarth & his gin lane, finishing with the golden era of gin. Once sufficiently briefed, your Vault Master will guide you through to our Tasting Room to nose your way through an eclectic range of pure botanical distillates before being lubricated by a multitude of our favourite gins and accompaniments.
Private Event
The Vault is a stunning private event space in the heart of the venue, this decadent space is located under the original early 17th century manor house making it a truly unique location in which to host memorable events with a twist. With vaulted ceilings and quaint alcoves, Vault 52 is ideal for any special occasion, including birthday celebrations, anniversaries, Christmas parties, family dinners or a business event.
Vault 52 is made up of two areas, the Tasting Room is an exclusive bar area that can be used for pre-dinner drinks and receptions, whilst the Snug provides the setting for a private lunch or dinner for up to 22 guests. Alternatively, let your hair down and dance the night away with a choice of live music and party in style.
Gin Cocktail Masterclass
Everyone has their favourite drink, but can you replicate that in your own home? Whether you prefer the timeless gin classics or something a little more adventurous, our masterly mixologists can teach you exactly how to make your favourite cocktails.
We offer a range of Gin Cocktail Masterclasses, where you can learn the art of cocktail making and find out how to mix, shake and serve some of the most delicious drinks around. Perhaps you’re a cocktail novice and you want to learn what it’s all about. If you can’t tell a Gin Fizz from a Gin Martini, or a Negroni from a Napoleon, our popular cocktail-making classes will teach you everything you need to know. Cocktail making isn’t as straightforward as our skilled mixologists make it appear, and when you join one of our classes, you will learn how it is done correctly from the experts, as well as having the pleasure of drinking all the drinks you make.
After a welcome drink, you will be guided through the history of gin and how it is made before being let loose behind the bar. Learning about mixing the perfect cocktail at our masterclass is a great way to celebrate for special occasions, corporate entertaining, team building or even just a night out with friends.
